My greatest source of inspiration for daily blogging is Seth Godin.
He never told me to blog daily, I just see him do it, and it inspires me to do it too.
Sometimes what we do, speaks more effectively to the heart, than what we say.
In any case, some of my readers have asked why I don’t have blog comments on my posts, and expressed the desire to be able to comment.
This is great news to me because it shows that
1) some of you actually do read what I write.. (thank you)
and 2) some of what I write resonates so well that it makes you want to comment.
So in answer to the blog comments [off] question, this is Seth’s post that inspired me to turn mine off a while back.
1 more, for me, that wasn’t listed here from Seth is the phenomenon of Ego boosting that can sometimes happen when people say nice things about you.
For all of those reasons, plus my that last one, I turned my comments off a while back.
All that being said, I’m working hard not to be a sheepwalker, and I’m toying around with the idea of turning them back on.
Truth is, something I crave for this year is better connections & relationships with great people & I’m thinking my blog comments might serve as a way to help facilitate this.
All this to say…
I want to know what you think.
Would you like to be able to comment on my posts?
Or do you prefer to just read them and move on with your day?
Comments for this post are [on]. 🙂
