How To Find Cheap Books

I remember when I was struggling financially.

I was working at a job I didn’t like, living in a house that was too small for our family (a trailer house actually), and I really wanted things to change badly.

So… I did what any self-respecting Father could and should do.

I took responsibility for seeking out information that could help me get into a better situation.

I started listening to personal development audios every day.

One of the very first audios I got, and the one I’ll never ever forget was a program my friend Arnauld, picked up in the library and then shared with me.

It was called “The Art Of Exceptional Living” By Jim Rohn.

One of the priceless nuggets of wisdom I got from that audio is this..

Jim Rohn said, you need to start building your library.

He also said, if you don’t have a library, clean out a shelf in your closet and make it your library.

So where does a dude in a trailer house go to start picking up books?

(the same place I still go today)

The thrift store.  🙂

Many of the books I have in my personal library today were purchased for .50 to $3 at local thrift stores.

These small monetary investments have turned into significant financial returns for my family over the last few years in the home business profession.

I highly recommend starting to build your library.

Jim also said, if you don’t have a library, clean out a shelf in your closet and make it your library.

I actually DID that as i picked up books from my local thrift stores.

When i was living in my 1984 Single Wide Mobile Home, I would buy books at this special discount book store and I actually had a shelf cleared off in the closed of my little office and that’s where I started building my library.

This is one of the best pieces of advice I ever got and I’m so grateful for Mr. Jim Rohn for giving it to me in one of his audio programs.

I recommend you do it.

Read every day my friend because as I learned down in Austin this last weekend

“You don’t get what you want in this business, you get what you are”

Never give up on your dreams.
