(Big thanks to my wonderful wife who won the tickets for us)
2 things from last night touched me.
1st, we showed up the Holt Arena (The college event center) and saw that they wanted $5 for parking.
Us country folk here in Idaho are not used to paying for parking (lol) so I quickly asked where we could park for free.
The parking attendant told me we could park on the street free of charge so we did.
Kayden said “Dad are we going to walk all the way there?”
I said “we sure are son”.
He then said “cool, that means we get to spend more time together“.
Do you think kids value attention from parents?
I also learned about looking on the bright side of things.
One24 (The most amazing residual income program I’ve ever seen) is taking my wife and I on an all expense paid cruise to the Bahamas in March.
It just so happens the cruise is scheduled right over Kayden’s birthday.
Does that bother Kayden?
Not at all…
Last night he told me how excited he his that he will now get 2 birthday parties.
One with grandpa and grandma and another when mom and dad get home.
Ancient scripture says “and a little child shall lead them“.
How true that can be if we really listen and look for life’s priceless little lessons.
