Wahoo!  I just had the opportunity to interview an awesome friend & fellow home business entrepreneur.

Her name is Angie Zambrano and she had a total transformation losing 70 pounds so far, with a very simple nutrition plan.

How she lost 70 Pounds on a super simple nutrition plan

Here are some of my personal top favorite tips for those who are willing to embark on the epic journey of the slow carb plan.

1 – Balsamic Vinegar is a MUST.

I love to add Balsamic to my my beans.  I’ve recently been adding Garlic powder and Garlic salt as well which seems to be helping a TON with the flavor and Variety.

In addition to beans, balsamic mixed with some olive oil is a great dressing for salads..

And last but not least, Balsamic mixed with a dab of mustard makes a GREAT sauce to dip your steak or chicken in.

2 – Drain the juice and go HEAVY on the Beano.

The truth is, my wife Corene really was not pleased with me (putting it mildly) the first time I went on this plan.

This time around something HAD to chance or I was going to be sleeping on the couch for the entire 2 month challenge.

If you’re eating canned beans, be sure to drain them and rinse them with water.  I”m told that a large part of the gas comes from this flatulent fostering juice that they put in the cans.

I’ve also been eating 2 – 3 beano pills before each meal.  The combination of these 2 things has made a HUGE difference.  (you’re welcome honey)  🙂

3 – Mix Your Meal

I’ve found that rather than eating everything separate, mixing it all together occasionally can add some great variety.

4 – Salsa and Turkey Bacon (mmmm mmmm gooooood)

Adding some sugar free Salsa to your eggs makes ALL the difference and frying up a few slices of turkey bacon gives you a bit more to chew on as well.  🙂

*Turkey bacon is surprisingly delicious.

5 – Do it with other people

When i decided to do the slow carb challenge again (i totally lost my belly fat that last time I did it), the first thing I did was text my friend and business partner Mike Hobbs and ask him if he wanted to do it with me.  Fortunately, He said yes and we started a challenge group on FB for anyone else that wanted to do it as well.

My friend Kristian Cage, in Texas said one time on one of our morning masterminds “The value of any experience is multiplied, when you do it with other people.”

I’ve found that to be soooo true and I’m LOVING the experience of being in this together with other people.

We’ve been having a blast, sharing results, posting pics of our meals and masterminding on various related topics in our slow carb group.

I’m in week 3 and going strong, I’ve lost 2 inches of belly fat, and I really don’t think I could have done this by myself.

So those are my top 5 tips for slow carbing!

1 – Balsamic Vinegar is a MUST.

2 – Drain the juice and go HEAVY on the Beano.

3 – Mix Your Meal

4 – Salsa and Turkey Bacon (mmmm mmmm gooooood)

5 – Do it with other people
