My Thoughts On Crossing The Half Million In Earnings Mark

Wooo hooo – another milestone, I just crossed $500,000 in earnings with my primary company.

Money is not everything, but it is something.

I do not believe that having money or not having money makes you any better or any worse than any other human being.

Money itself, is a result and it can come from many different causes.

Here’s what earning over a half a million in one company means to me.

Jim Rohn says you get paid for bringing value to the marketplace.

So this amount to me is representative of a good chunk of value myself,

and many others,

have brought to the marketplace, together.

I could not have gotten here without my team, my Company, our amazing products, or my mentors.

Because I am in the home business profession, every dollar of sales I generate – goes toward introducing people to freedom or helping people have more freedom in their lives.

Because of that, I smile at least a half a million times inside,

…as I think of every dollar that has gone toward investing in freedom.

This number to me represents – my commitment to stay true to my vision and always go for my dreams.

I can think of countless times when I thought about quitting, especially in the early days.

I can think of times when,

…from the outside looking in,

it made perfect sense to quit – and from many peoples perspectives I probably should’ve quit.

I didn’t quit.

I didn’t listen to other people’s opinions.

I followed my heart instead.

This number to me, is also an indication that I have followed a certain set of laws to get to where I’m at.

Jim Rohn says we need to learn to take responsibility for our harvest – and that includes – reaping without apology, when we do well.

While some people might be ashamed of their success or be hesitant to post an occasional result like this,

I am proud of what I have accomplished – and I display it not with a sense of superiority or inferiority,

But rather with a sense of gratitude and accomplishment.

I don’t believe that money is the goal of life.

Quality-of-life and options –

…to do what we really want to do,

…and contribute in the ways that we really want to contribute – is.

To me, earning a large income is not the same thing as wealth.

So when I look at this $500,000 mark, yes I’m proud that I earned this amount of money based on work, effort and persistence,

AND – I am proud of what my family has chosen to do with the money.

We paid off our house so we have no mortgage.

All our cars are paid for.

We have saved and invested for the future.

We have donated to our church.

As I said before – Money is not everything, but it IS something.

And I believe it can be something great, when used in the right ways.

Lastly this number to me represents,

That you may not be able to choose where you start,

…but you can certainly choose where you finish.

I started my home business newly married, making 11 dollars and nine cents an hour – working in a call center.

My wife and I got a loan for $13,500 so we could buy our first home,

A 1984 single wide trailer house.

That is where I started.

To me this proves that it does not matter where you’re at in life,

You can always learn new things, take new actions and get a better result if you’re willing to work.

I love that about life and the free enterprise system.

Sometimes it’s good to reflect on where you’re at and where you’ve come from.

This allows us to notice where we’ve done well and where we could have done better.

I read one time in a book,

“The past is the present unrolled for understanding,

And the present is the past rolled up for action”

I’m ready for the future and I’m ready for action.

I feel I’m in a great spot to help lead the charge to free hundred families per year.

$500,000 in earnings is where I’ve been.

It’s not where I’m going.

Always go for your dreams my friend.

Always, go for your dreams.
