Secret Society Success Secrets Exposed

Over the last week or so I’ve been listening to a fascinating audio training program called “Your Wish Is My Command” by the infamous infomercial mega king, Mr. Kevin Trudeau.

According to Kevin Trudeau, the information shared in this audio program contains “missing secrets” to success that are just now being revealed because a handful of elite secret society members have decided to “go public” and make this information available to the average Joe.

Not really sure if I believe the “secret society” claims yet or not…. (the jury’s still out on that one)…

Nonetheless, isn’t it fascinating to see how when information is packaged within an air of secrecy, intrigue, or privacy…. you almost can’t help wanting to peek behind the curtain to see what’s inside?

Info-Marketing Tip #1 – Talk about “The Secret(s)” & people will want to know more…

This is actually a practical application of a well known psychological trigger.  It’s called curiosity and it’s pretty important to use in your marketing.

Whether your calling a prospect to “approach & pique interest” or writing a headline for an email or blog post….

Always remember…

Curiosity did NOT kill the cat, it made him salivate like crazy for whatever it is you want to feed him.

I’m so grateful to my Friend Annie Liu for sending sharing this audio program to me because it’s really been enlightening on a few different levels.

I’d like to share with you some of the insights I’ve gained.

Aside from seeing how the information is packaged… I’ve actually learned a few more useful lessons from this training program.

Here 3 of them…

Secret Lesson #1 – Who do you listen to?

Basically, this is mean be very careful about who get your information from.

He points out something that is probably true that I really never thought of before.

Most super successful people who write books, usually aren’t the one’s writing the books.

He uses Donald Trump as an example.

According to Kevin Trudeau, when The Donald, writes a book.. he’s basically interviewed by a writer for 3o minutes or so who asks him some questions & then goes & writes the book so that Donald’s name can be stamped on it.

Don’t know for sure if this is true but it stands to reason that it probably is.

This is incredibly useful for those of us in the home business industry because one of the problems we run into of many people we could follow & learn from, some of them are currently using the strategies they teach & others are not.

Take for example someone who outsources 100% of their traffic.  They personally, are no longer doing the traffic generation, and yet they appear to be the one’s doing all the work.  In fact, many of these people will even get on webinars to teach what they’re doing, when in fact, they’re really not the one’s doing the things they’re teaching.

Do you see how this could be a problem?

It’s important we find the people who are teaching exactly what they’re doing & have achieved the results we want so we can model them.

If you want to make money online without phone prospecting, you should follow someone who does that.

If you want to make money in a traditional network marketing style, you should follow someone who’s making that work.

Simple but powerful concept.

Secret Lesson #2 – Teach ability Index

In a nutshell, on a scale of 1-10, how teachable are you & what is your willingness to change (or resist change)?

To advance rapidly & have success in learning, your teach ability index must be high.

In my opinion, one of the signs of wisdom is when a person admits how little he/she really does know.

Most of us run around thinking we know something & wanting to “teach” & be viewed as “The Man” or “The Woman”.

I see this from time to time on the group coaching sessions I host.  Some people clearly show up to “teach & demonstrate their accumulated knowledge & wisdom” while others seem to be there more to learn and grow.

I was reading some scriptures this morning that put this another way.

The scripture said that God gives wisdom “here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept upon precept” & then said that the person that received that which was given would be given more while the person who says, “I’ve got enough” will have that which was given taken away.

How high is your teachable index?  Seems important that we recognize this important principle and always be thinking about it.

Secret Lesson #3 – The Training Balance Scale

The 3rd & final Illuminati secret lesson I’ll share with you today is what Kevin called “The Training Balance Scale“.

In a nutshell, this concept expresses that on the one side of the scale, you have all of the mind work/processes like clear purpose, vision, goals, desire, dreams, passion, faith, belief, etc. and on the other side you have “The How” stuff like plans, skills, action, ect.

This is another way to express a formula we talk about all the time…

Mindset + Skill set X Performance = Results

What Kevin said that was fascinating is that when you get the mindset piece down, the facts almost don’t even matter.

This is pretty consistent with what I’ve heard from top money makers all throughout the home business industry.

For example, I was listening to another mentor the other morning teach on goal setting and clarifying your purpose.

He said that he knew people would be saying… “C’mon, get to the good stuff… I don’t want all this positive thinking mumbo jumbo – I want the Meat & Potatoes“…

So here’s what the trainer said said (BTW, this guy makes over 200K per month). …

He said “I’ve got news for you folks, this IS the meat & potatoes“.

That right there is some powerful stuff if you’re high on the teach ability index.

Re-Cap

So, to re-cap.  The top 3 secret society lessons I learned from Kevin Trudeau are…

1) Be careful who you listen to

2)  The Teach ability Index

3)  The Training Balance Scale

Super powerful stuff for moving forward & creating a more exciting, compelling & desirable future.

Let’s be good grasshoppers & use this stuff wisely.

May the force be with you,

Paul Hutchings

PS – Have you heard these ideas before?  Do you have any experiences to share that have come from following the right and/or the wrong people in your home business? I’d love to hear below.
