True North

A few years ago a special friend gave me a unique gift that keeps on giving.

This compass, which I see on my nightstand each evening before I go to sleep, and each morning as I arise, reminds me to continue to seek to align my inner compass with true north.

In my office hangs a painting that reads, “Your heart is the only compass you’ll ever need.  This life is your message to the world, let it be extraordinary.”

I believe that divinity speaks through us when our hearts are open and willing to receive.

Your goal or your purpose can be like a compass pointing you forward to greatness, but without principles to guide it, mistakes can be made.

Sometimes the worldly compass is out of alignment with the infinite compass.

Great achievements are wonderful when accomplished with the right intentions and behavior towards the people around us.

They are empty and meaningless if done at the expense of that which matters most.

Napoleon Hill wrote “To step on another man’s face on your way up the ladder, is to make a mockery of the money you earn.”

The truly successful dance through life seems to require the alignment of 2 compasses.

The compass of the heart with the compass of the infinite.
