If I took the time to tell you about every,

  • Compensation plan change I’ve been through
  • Customer killing product goof up I’ve witnessed
  • Or income destroying decision that’s been made by company leadership over the years

This would not be a brief post.

One way I’ve chosen to insulate myself from some of these negative affects both now and in the future, is to build the You Inc. business model.

This just means you build your brand, your value, your following and your trust in the market place first,

…and market the things you want to market 2nd, not the other way around.

If people receive value from you and they know you’ll tell them the truth as far as you know it, you have an asset that can’t be easily harmed by the mistakes of other people.

It’s also a way to differentiate yourself from every other competitor with ease.

You Inc, used to seem like a clever idea.

Now it seems like the only way to survive and thrive long term, in today’s home business world.
