Online lead generation is really easy to complicate.
When I got started generating leads back in 2009 I had no advanced funnel training.
I had excitement about what I was sharing and a few basic ideas.
With those 2 things – I was able to win.
Here are the basics.
1. Have a capture page that gives people something they want in exchange for their contact info. (here's a simple example)
2. Have a thank you page that does 3 things…
- Gives them the the thing they wanted that can help them
- In the process, allows them to get to know like and trust you
- At some point, suggests they take a look at whatever it is you're promoting
(here's an example of what I'm using now – it's probably longer and more complicated than it needs to be)
That's it.
Get that process down, rinse and repeat and you're on your way!
