In home business, it seems. people throw ridiculous claims around all over the place.
What effect do you think that has on prospects?
Here's what it does to me.
When I hear someone make a claim, especially someone I don't know, I wonder if it's true or not.
Sometimes I even say to myself, 'yeah right.'
Odds are, that's what most of our prospects are thinking.
They want results so sharing results is a powerful form of influence.
Proving to them that you've achieved a result by showing them evidence, is a golden way to get their attention and establish credibility.
And for many, that's what it takes to actually start to gain their trust.
If you can do this in a way that also teaches them and adds value to their life, even better.
That's what I tried to do on this new proof page I put on my blog.
Ronald Reagan made the Russian Proverb "Trust But Verify" famous in the 80's.
In home business, it seems to work more like…
Verify, then trust.
