It’s amazing what can from a mastermind session.  🙂

As you may know, Mike Hobbs and I have been here in SLC this weekend attending an advanced mindset workshop.

One of the principles we’ve been learning is ‘chunking’.

This is where you take a behavior, mode of thinking, etc. and ask…

“what does doing this allow you to have, do or be?” 

You’ll usually get a surface answer but then you keep asking the question.

What’s interesting is that if you ask enough times you’ll usually come to things like ‘love, peace, harmony, knowingness, oneness’ or some other deep underlying human intention.

I asked Will, the instructor, “what’s the most fascinating thing you’ve learned in your studies of this stuff?”

He said,

“It’s that, as different as we sometimes like to think we are from one another,we’re really all the same”.

Now, that’s interesting stuff, but it’s not the purpose of this blog post.  😉

The purpose of this post is to share with you an interesting discovery that came out of our mastermind session last night.

Mike Hobbs, for weeks has been trying to ‘Drill Down’ to the core fundamentals of what it takes for someone to really make money in the home business profession.

What EXACTLY should one be doing on a daily basis that will ENSURE that they are doing the right things that will lead to money?  

We’ve got the success formula, right?…

“Mindset + Skillset X Performance = Result”…

But… what exactly are the skills and what kind of actions should we be taking daily?

Mike had come up with Mindset and listbuilding… but he felt like something was missing so he kept drilling me.

As we brainstormed back and forth together…

…finally EUREKA!

The formula appeared.

It was clear… it was precise… and it tells us EXACTLY what 3 things we should be paying attention to on a daily basis if we want to have massive long term success in our home based businesses.

Mindset + Listbuilding X Conversions = Wealth From Home

You probably already know all about mindset, right?  

Reading, audios, training, events (like we’re at right now).  

Crucial, foundational! 

But what about listbuilding?  

What are you gonna do today to build your list?  

How are you adding new poeple to your contact list? 

How are you getting going to get new subscribers today?  

Blogging, video marketing, placing ads… all POINTLESS if they don’t lead to getting new subscribers on your list or increasing conversions.   

So, LISTBUILDING… Is daily, critical activity #2.  

Next…

Conversions.  

What are you doing to convert those subscribers to paying customers?  

What are you doing to help those paying customers see the value of buying more products to invest in themselves? 

Now we’re talking conversions.  

Typically, I’ve shied away from the word conversions because I’ve always told myself the story… 

“well, I don’t want to be too analytical”

But now, I realize… you don’y’ have to be analytical to have a conversion focus.  

Increase conversions?  

This simply means… what am I doing to increase sales?  

Writing a blog post like this…

….POINTLESS unless it leads to getting new subscribers on my list (maybe I’ll share this on Facebook to see if I can pull some new subscribers from there, right?)

These are the 3 things that should be on your business ‘to do’ list EVERY DAY!

1)  Mindset 

What am I gonna read?

What products am I gonna go through that I’ve already purchased?

What new products am I gonna buy to build my mind?

2)  List building

What am I gonna to today to get new subscribers on my list… or, if you’re doing it traditionally… how/where am I going to network to meet new contacts.

3)  Conversions

What am I going to do to get new sales, or… get more sales from the people who have already joined?

There you have it my friend.

The home business wealth formula. 

Simple, profound and POWERFUL.

Focus on these 3 things daily and I believe you can whatever you want to get from your home business.
