A while back, after playing basketball with my sons one day, they wanted to go out for some ice cream.
My 8 year old Camden, had a $5 bill and wanted to treat his brothers to a cone.
We get there, place the order and the total comes to $4.18.
Camden says, “Dad, should we give the rest to this lady who brought us the ice cream as a tip?”
“Sure son, that sounds like a great idea.”
Then, out of the back seat we hear this little 6 year old voice..
(from Kyson the little brother)
Shout out.. “YEAH… tell her…
“Keep the change ya filthy animal!”
We all bust out laughing as we realize that Kyson had just hilariously quoted the movie “Home Alone”.
ha ha…
In that moment, as I laughed with my boys, my mind was totally off my business, my goals and my challenges.
Napoleon Hill writes in his last book, “Grow Rich With Peace Of Mind”, that it’s important to take a few hours every day to do what you want to do.
Whether that’s spending time with kids, watching a movie, or you fill in the blank….
Maybe he was on to something.. 🙂
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.
This one made me laugh my B..t off!!
I have to share this blog post with my daughters!
