When we as people pass judgments on other people, it’s like we’re taking a photo of that person and saying,
“This is it, that’s all there is.”
The problem with this is, people are more like movies than they are like photos.
A photo is a still shot in time.
People always have a next frame.
There’s always more to the story, things to learn, changes to make, and new triumphs to be had.
There’s depth and history and infinite levels to a human soul that can’t be captured in a snapshot.
So maybe next time we have the urge to take that photo and judge it,
…we can remember that people are more like movies than they are like pictures.
