The Best Parts of The Sermon

Yesterday we had 2 hours of church meetings.

At the one hour and 30 minute mark, Kayden, my oldest son, leans over to me and says,

…'He should just say Amen!'

I laughed. 

Then, after the preaching finished up and the closing hymn was announced – he leaned back over to me and said,

…'we should sing hallelujah.'

I laughed again.

And isn't it true that many times enthusiasm, sincere joy & laughter – are the best parts of the sermon?
