A few years ago I had a mentor tell me…
“Your time is way too valuable to be helping people with things like setting up their capture page and putting together their lead magnet.”
You may have heard this philosophy too.
It basically says – your time is too valuable to help people with (fill in the blank).
Recently I’ve invested some time helping a few friends & freedom Crusaders 1 on 1.
We did the exact things my old mentor told me not to do.
I realized something.
These were the things these 2 friends needed help with so they could move forward.
Mathematically the “my time is too valuable to help so and so with xyz” might make sense.
On a heart level though, I think the story is different.
The I’m too busy making money to help people philosophy might work well for stacking the Benjamins.
But what good is all the money in the world if you still feel broke inside?
I’m starting to think that maybe that old advice I got, was bad advice.
Sounds a lot like the “slow way” is really the “fast way.”
I think so my friend!
