Can You Succeed In Affiliate Marketing Without Having Social Media Presence (and protect privacy)?

This last week I got a text from someone asking me…

“Paul, could you please let me know if it’s possible to have success with affiliate marketing without having a presence on social media?”

This is a great question that I’m sure, she’s not the only one asking.

In fact, there are probably so many people asking this same question that there’s a GREAT market for anyone willing to lead the charge in this area.

I wanted to share my response in case it might be able to help anyone else who might want to grow a residual income with affiliate marketing, and just hasn’t gotten started yet for this very reason.

My Response

My personal belief is that all things are possible. If I ask myself, how would I succeed without a presence on social media, here are some of the things that come to mind.

  • One, if I was willing to talk to people, I would not even need to create content because I could just connect and give invitations and find the people who are open to an additional income stream.

  • Two, I could create some kind of an offer that I could advertise that did not have my personality attached to it and use that to generate leads. And then I would also connect with people and send emails.

  • And three, now that we are in the age of artificial intelligence and it is getting better and better in helping with content creation, I would learn to use artificial intelligence to create content and some kind of a brand on social media that, again, did not have my name or personality attached to it.

So to sum all of this up and wrap it back to your question, is it possible? Yes, I do believe it is.

You just have to be willing to ask yourself the question, how can I? And keep asking that question.

Hope that’s helpful, and I really appreciate you trusting me enough to ask.

Honestly, the more I think about where A.I. is now, and where it’s headed, I’ll add that there’s NEVER been a better time for doing something like this.

In fact, on X I’ve seen multiple accounts of 100% A.I. generated influencers already producing large amounts of income. (and this is from people I trust online – so I’m fairly certain it’s not hype.

Exciting times to be alive right?

What do you think?

I’d love to hear your thoughts down below.

Thanks for reading and whatever you do, always go for your dreams!

Paul

PS: This lady I was chatting with told me she was going to get started with our Let’s Goal product, as it’s a very low cost way to begin her affiliate marketing journey. It’s only $10/mo and pays $8 residuals.

As a salesperson, of course the temptation is to try and encourage her to buy more so she could earn more, but honestly, I think her approach is smart.

If you’ve never done sales or marketing before, and are totally new to all this online marketing, affiliate marketing stuff, why not start small and build from there?

One of the things I’ve always loved about our $10 and $25 price point products, is that they make it possible for anyone, with any budget, to get started building a residual income from home. 🙂

  1. I do have a social media presence however, I was ready to get back to the old fashioned way of gaining leads myself so my personality wouldn’t be attached to it and the focus would be on the service or product versus the focus being on me and how pretty I looked in the picture. I posted with the content. I do have some other suggestions…
Direct Outreach & Networking (Old-School but GOLD 🤝)
💡 Why it Works: Relationships = Revenue. When you build 1-on-1 connections, sales naturally follow.

✅ Join online communities, business groups, and forums (Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, industry forums).
✅ Cold email potential clients with personalized offers (not spammy, just valuable).
✅ Host free webinars/workshops to showcase expertise.

🔹 Example: A business coach cold emails struggling entrepreneurs with a free “10-Min Profit Audit” offer, then upsells coaching.

Speaking of Affiliate and Network Marketing, I use to sell Avon and to keep from going house to house, I would have friends that worked in various companies to be my “point of contact” and give them product at cost if they would get customers for me by sharing the Avon booklet with others to take orders. I didn’t know at the time I had my own Affiliate program going. I just knew it was a smarter way to work versus running around from house to house. Check this out …
Affiliate & Referral Marketing (Let Others Sell for You 💼)
💡 Why it Works: Word-of-mouth is more powerful than ads—and referrals convert 30% better than cold leads!

✅ Create an affiliate program where others earn commissions for referrals.
✅ Offer a referral bonus (discounts, freebies, cash rewards).
✅ Partner with influencers, bloggers, and professionals in the same industry.

🔹 Example: A gold bullion seller partners with finance bloggers to share their referral link + earn commissions.

Align with a partner that makes sense for your offerings! #collaborationisthenewcurrancy

I’m not a blogger but I hope I provided valuable insight for your readers Paul!

It seems the ideas are endless.

Yes, thank you again for adding these.

That’s cool that you used to sell Avon too.

My mom always loved our Avon Lady so much. 🙂
