Hidden Selfishness

Perfectionism can be a hidden form of selfishness.

It causes you to keep the best of what you have away from the people who need it the most.

In the past, I would agonize over each blog post before sending.

Was it perfect?

Would people like it?

What a waste of time.

I’ve learned that ‘good enough’ (not perfect) is often the blessing that so many need.

So while you may tell yourself your hesitation in hitting publish on the post or send on the email, is all about the people you’re serving,

Maybe that hesitation and lack of action is really more about you than them.
