It’s Just Not Working For Me

This last weekend I got an email from a team member who said…

“I need to cancel, it’s just not working for me.”

Now I certainly don’t know the full story behind this person’s efforts as of yet so no definitely no judgment here but I can tell you what came to my mind when I read that email.

“The system is not supposed to work for you, you are supposed to work for you.”

Reminds of me the time I met Sharon Lechter, co-author of the Rich Dad books and I told her, ‘Thank you so much, your books changed my life.”

She told me ‘It’s more accurate to say that you changed your life.’

Books, systems, & businesses do not change lives.

They act as tools, guides and resources we can use in our own hands as we change our lives through action and persistence.

Put your success in the hands of a book with no legs or a system that can never make the connections or do the marketing for you and you’ll be waiting a long time for your ship to come in.
