My son Camden has been asking me for ways to earn money.
After some persistence, I told him he could rake the lawn for 5 bucks.
He worked and got paid but when I paid him, I wanted to strive to teach him a lesson that would help him.
I asked “I wonder if there’s a way to turn that $5 into $10”
He responded with a great idea, went to work and earned his $5 back the very next day and had $19 in inventory left over from his initial investment of 5 bucks.
I was so proud of him but that wasn’t where the lesson was to end.
Today he asked mom and dad to give him $10 for the movies.
