A good shepherd loves his flock and leads the way, day by day, with confidence that comes from beyond.

He knows there are wolves that lie waiting in the shadows of the forest and does his best to warn of danger and guide to safety.

The shepherd knows that some will veer from the path and does his best to find them and carry them back when they do.

He never let’s the one’s who leave detract from his responsibilities of leading the rest of the flock for very long.

The good shepherd follows the star that is sure, and takes comfort in the guidance that comes to his aid.

The good shepherd is sure, consistent and accountable for his stewardship.

This gives the inner strength necessary to lead on.
