4 Steps To Creating Killer Content For Your Target Audience

Creating content is important for online businesses to grow. But what can you do to make sure your audience absolutely falls in love with it? Because you don’t want to just create content, but you want to create something that will convert traffic into leads and leads into sales.

Here I will go over the 4 steps to creating killer content to attract your target audience.

  1. The Hook
  2. The Body
  3. Call to Action
  4. High-quality

When all put together you will be able to create content that speaks on a personal level to your audience and draw them into your offer.

1. The Hook

You need something to grab their attention, and it needs to be fast! That means the first sentence of a written post or the first 3 seconds of a video needs something to draw them in and get them ready for the rest.

Your traffic is used to scrolling social media all day every day. They see hundreds and thousands of pieces of content all the time. So what makes them want to stop and pay attention to what you have to say?

A good hook can be something like a question or an interesting fact. “I just made $5,000 and lost it all,” is an example of an attention grabber that’s a more interesting way of saying how you earned money online and reinvested it back into your business.

Now your audience will want to know how you made it, and where did it go. Because of this, they will continue reading/watching to find out. Now that we have their attention we can lead them into the bulk of the content.

2. The Body

This will be the main part of your content where you can say whatever information it is you wanted your audience to hear. Even though we have their attention, make sure to still get to the point and keep it interesting, or else you can still lose them before the most important part.

Good stories are always great for content. Find something in your life that you can then tie into your business or product. This also helps to build know, like, and trust with your audience.

Another good way to resonate with your audience is by honing in on a pain point, then going on to show how your business or product is the solution to that problem. Use the same method to state the dreams your audience wants to achieve, and how you can help them achieve them.

3. Call to Action

This might be the most important part of the content. It is where you tell your audience exactly where to go or what to do next.

You got their attention, your content spoke to them and now they need to know what to do next. Without a call to action, they move on to the next post or video, and you just lost a lead.

4. High-quality content

When you create content you are competing against every other post and video. You not only need it to stand out, but you need it to look professional. There are several free tools you can use to go from low to high-quality content.

Grammarly corrects your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It is a free-to-use browser extension that I am even using right now to write this article.

Canva is a free-to-use site/app that lets you create and edit images. I’ve used this to create my Facebook cover photo, all my YouTube thumbnails, and a lot more.

These are only a few of the free-to-use tools that are available to help your business stand out above the others.

Summary

Content creation is an important part of online marketing businesses. There is a lot of traffic floating around and you need to be able to hook them in, connect, and lead them in the right direction. There are plenty of tools available to help you create the best content for free.
