A Surprisingly Simple Motivation Hack

If I could show you a way to crank up the happiness and tune out the sadness or ramp up the energy and motivation power with the push or pull of an imaginary lever, would you want me to tell you about it or keep it a secret? Do not watch the video below if you wanted to me to keep it a secret.

  1. Hey Paul, great video! I haven’t read that far in the book, as I have been both busy, and trying to keep my reading time to no more than 30 minutes.

One of the biggest reasons why I have been having a hard time lately.

Is this one pain point that keeps coming back to the forefront of my mind. It is very deep and emotional for me. Which creates a longing and then brings her picture or image barreling into my mind where I can’t get it out.

This oftentimes has to lead me to a sort of self-depression or inability to act as sometimes the results are so intense and bad. I literally am racked with pain throughout my whole body.

This has also caused me to not be able to sleep sometimes, or to wake up super early? Whichever or both… Anyway, the point of me writing this out to you is just to thank you for being awesome.

I was battling with these thoughts and that image this morning.

After seeing this I was also able to shrink that image down to a thumbnail. I have been taking action all day because of it.

I also want to send a special shoutout to you. Thank you for the surprise card I got today. That was an unexpected bonus that I received with my mail today!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

    • Hey Daniel!

Thank you so much for leaving me this comment! I’m excited that this exercise showed up in perfect timing for you like it did for me.

Be kind and loving to yourself on your reading time.

The important part is that you read consistently the things that can help you improve.

Far less important is the length of time.

In fact, I’ve recently been playing around with an idea called ‘Nugget reading’ based of something Kevin Sousa said on one of our masterminds.

Read until you find 1 nugget that help you AND that you can teach. Then stop and move on with taking action for the day.

      Something fun to try.

So glad you got the card my friend.

You’re truly a great man and I’m thankful and excited to be working with you.

      Best always,

      Paul
