My Thoughts On Crossing 200K Per Month In Recurring Revenue

So yesterday after these guys had loaded up a Kayak I’d won into the back of my truck,

(thanks honey! She puts me in drawings all the time without me knowing)

I was sitting in my truck waiting for Corene & Kyson to come out from a store they were shopping in, and logged into our company tracking software and noticed we’d crossed another big milestone.

Over $200,000 in monthly, recurring revenue.

I figured I’d jot down a few thoughts, and maybe a tip or 2 from where I sit.

First off, my mind is blown. 🤯

I was telling my friend Bill on the phone today, that when I joined my first home business, my DREAM was $3,000 per month in residual income.

That was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I couldn’t see or imagine there would be anything beyond that.

At the time, I was living in a trailer, earning ZERO residual income, and working at a job that was crushing my soul.

If I could just get to $3K per month… My life would be perfect and I’d be in a constant state of bliss.

So to go from that spot, to helping to build a company that’s now doing over $200K per month, really is just so humbling.

It feels like an absolute miracle.

Keep in mind, my first 12 months in home business, I made nothing.

The next few years weren’t much better.

So to me, this is an astounding example of what can happen if you just decide to have a dream and KEEP PERSISTING!

Where you and I can see to now, is probably no where near where we can go, if we’re willing to go the distance.

Maybe it’s true that God has bigger plans for us all, if we’re open.

There’s an old scripture that says something like..

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

So I guess those would be my first 2 big thoughts…

  1. Persistence is real magic
  2. Where you’re at now, or even where you can see, is probably nowhere near where you can be.

The next thought I’ve been having is expressed perfectly via another conversation I had with a friend named Dan.

It’s all the community!

That’s the big takeaway from that message thread.

The $200K Plus per month breakthrough is not something ‘me‘ did, truly, it’s something ‘we’ did.

There’s a line in our Freedom Crusaders manifesto that says, Together, we can do more.

This is the truth, and our amazing community is proving the truth of this, each and every day, together.

One of the big blessings that’s coming to me through all of this, is getting to see that the best lessons, and pillars of truth that have been passed along to me, over the years by mentors, are playing out and working in real life.

Zig Ziglar said “You can have anything you want in life, if you just help enough other people to get what they want.”

I LOVE putting ideas like this to the test in the laboratory of real life to see if they work, to see if they’re true.

So far, so good!

It’s incredible to see the magic that can unfold, when we seek truth as hard as we can, and then work, with all we’ve got, to apply it in our lives.

One of our members posted something in our group yesterday that expresses the essence of something similar to what ol Zig’ said above…

I don’t see myself has having ‘died‘ to serve others, but I have found great joy in living to serve others.

One example is a daily conference call I hosted for an hour a day, every day, for years, and years and years.

(we’re now over 11 years and counting)

Waking up to live, in that hour, to serve others.

So many people over the years, have been blown a way that I would do something like that.

But the truth is, as I served others, in the best way I knew how, I discovered that I wasn’t just serving them, I was serving myself.

As I did my best to find & give the best advice to others, I found & gave the best advice to myself at the same time.

As I did my best to lift others up, guess what happened?

They lifted me up just us much or more.

At the end of the day, what is life anyway?

If we’re not doing something useful for someone else… is that even living?

What joy is there in learning to play the guitar if we can’t ever share our music with someone else?

Sure there’s some… but it truly does seem like, there’s only so much joy we can receive from our own gifts.

That joy is amplified tremendously, when we’re able to share our treasures with others.

The feeling you get, when you’ve actually helped someone, in a meaningful way is OFF THE CHAIN, and I must say, I’m totally addicted.

And maybe that’s another lesson.

Get addicted to helping and serving others, in the best way you can, and the money will follow.

Be happy so you can inspire happiness.

Give value so you can be paid back with gratitude and tears.

Lift others so you can be lifted.

The Bible says ‘it is not good that man should be alone.’

This rings true to the core of my soul.

We are here, on this planet… to be with and serve each other.

And at the end of the day, yeah the $200K per month is cool… but what’s way, way, way, WAY cooler..

Is all the

  • tears
  • smiles,
  • service,
  • love,
  • relationships,
  • lessons,
  • hope,
  • friendships,
  • laughs,
  • faith,
  • contribution and new decisions for better futures that have built this result.

The number is empty without all of that stuff.

Give me more meaning and purpose.

Give me more reasons for living.

Give me more people, to give the best of me to, and us to, and I’ll feel success deep in my heart, at $200K just like I did at zero to $1,000 per month.

Yes of course there is increase.

The capacity to feel grows, as our capacity to impact stretches.

So let’s keep stretching to see how far we can grow.

Ok I’m rambling now.

Thanks for reading, and if there’s one thing I’ll leave you with it’s this.

“True values really matter.” -Jim Rohn

There ARE such a thing as principles… and if we can find them, understand them, and apply them consistently, over time, good things happen.

Bless and be blessed (as my friend Rob always says).
