I was talking to a great friend & fellow Freedom Crusader, Mr. Rob Skinner last week about faith & works. 🙂
There’s a chapter in Bob Proctor’s “You Were Born Rich” called ‘Let Go and Let God.’
We were discussing & dissecting that statement to see if we could understand the essence of the lesson there.
What does it mean to ‘Let Go And Let God?’
I think part of it means to realize that after you plant a seed, there’s a big part of that seed’s growth that comes from outside yourself.
External (infinite) forces of nature.
The sun, the nutrients in the soil, so on and so forth.
(Many of these things are not directly within our control).
Perhaps ‘letting go and letting God‘ is about trusting in the idea that infinite intelligence (God) has your back.
If we do our part, the other parts will be taken care of.
If you really trust (or have faith) that the seeds will grow, you won’t be constantly looking at them, yelling at them, or stressing out about them all day every day.
We hear so much about how important ‘feeling‘ is when it comes to manifesting our dreams.
Have you ever noticed how much results seem to improve when you go on vacation or take a break of some sort?
Maybe that’s related to cultivating the feeling of ‘let go and let God.’
Lots of work by itself may not be a counterproductive thing.
We see many leaders who work long hours and produce great results.
Perhaps the more insightful question is why do people work long hours?
If longer hours are a result of stress, anxiety, worry and dare I say ‘lack of faith‘ – then maybe it’s possible that longer hours are hurting more than they’re helping.
If longer hours are a result of love, joy, service and high vibrational feeling, maybe they’re leading to a great place.
Your thoughts?
Great post, great thoughts shared! Thank you Paul. It all comes down to the intention behind it, and our vibration of energy. I needed to hear this today!
Amen to that Suzanne! I needed to hear it to.. 🙂 Thank you!
