Prospects can be like prospective terrorists in the sense that they don’t always do what you want them to do (or even what they say they will do) unless you handle them in the right way.
I was prospecting a guy on Facebook the other day and he told me he’d watch the video.
Did I get so excited I sent him the link immediately?
Nope.
I made him walk through my airport naked scanner first, just like you would a potential terrorist.
I asked him…
“If I send you the link now, when can you fit it in your schedule for sure?”
This is when he responded.
You see, this guy is a professional network marketer.
Not only has he read the book “Go Pro, The Steps To Becoming A Network Marketing Superstar” – he actually recognizes one of the strategies taught, The 3 Step Confirmation.
AKA – The Go Pro Pat Down. 🙂
Bottom line – the chances of someone watching your video – even after they say “yes” is extremely low without inviting them to walk through your airport naked scanner first.
And just like I may not like being seen nude by some government employee as an essential part of my vacations – I guess it tends to work pretty well for inducing my compliance.
