Saying No With Class

This last few days I’ve been blessed to sponsor 4 new customers into The Home Business Academy.

WAHOOO, a little pat on the back and money dance for myself.  🙂

In the process, one of these new customers who found me on a YouTube Video, decided that right now, at this moment in time, our membership is not right for him.

This guy is a very successful businessman who just took a company to the top of the Inc 500 list.

He’s also a best selling author and all around great guy!

Of course, my feelings were not hurt because the more action I take, the more immune I become to the word ‘no‘.

I also realize that there is no product, service or business that is right for everyone on the planet.

But what made this ‘no‘ even EASIER to handle, was the fact that this gentleman, told me ‘no’ with class.

I thought it was SUCH a great email I wanted to pass it along in the hopes that we can all learn how to say ‘no’ while lifting others and nourishing the relationship in the process.

(Hope it’s OK that I share this Michael)

Here’s his email...

Good morning my good friend Paul…

You truly are a breath of fresh air. You do such a good job of creating community and welcoming new members. I’m so impressed with the quality of your work, and more importantly, the quality of person you are!

I’m heading to British Columbia tomorrow and will be distracted for a while, so I wanted to take action while I remember. Please cancel my membership before my 7 day trial is up.

This is not a reflection of the quality of your training materials. It is the fact that for the rest of September and all of the 4th quarter, I will be deeply embedded in building out my vision, and I know, that as much as I like what you have done, I won’t be active in it. My monthly fee of $125 will be wasted, not because of your lack of value, but because of my lack of utilization.

When I get through what I need to do, I may very well come back and sign up when I can actually throw myself into it.

Fair enough friend?

Blessings,

Michael

P.S. I would enjoy staying in touch with you, should you want to.

Thank YOU for being a breath of fresh air Michael and of course, I want to stay in touch!
