Top Lessons From Sponsoring 128 New Customers In 10 Days

So this last week has been crazy!

Together, as a company – we’ve sponsored 128 new customers in 10 days and the sales don’t seem to be slowing down at all, despite the fact that our promotion ended last Friday.

In fact, just yesterday 14 new customers joined!

Check it out..

This is the most explosive growth we’ve had since we started our company over 2 years ago and of course, I’m SOOOOOO super excited about it.

I think this could mean we have a product that’s starting to go Viral which you know, if you’ve ever experience that before, is the funnest time to build and grow a a business.

Anyway, all that being said, I wanted to pause for minute or 2 and jot down some lessons I’ve picked up that hopefully, can help you in whatever it is you’re building at the moment.

First, The Real Power Of Price point And Offer

So for the last 2 years our lowest price product has been a monthly training & coaching membership that is $125 per month and pays a $100 residual for referrals.

That product, along with another product have, has allowed us to be very profitable, pay some pretty amazing commissions and make a good impact in the market.

That being said – I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it’s been easy, or that products were flying off the shelves as fast as we could stock them.

With this new product – It DOES feel easier than ever and sales DO seem to be flying off the shelves.

So what gives.

3 things I think.

First, price point.

A lower price point product, I think, is just naturally going to be more appealing to the masses.

Regardless of how much your various products are – after experiencing what’s happening in our company – I think having a lower priced product is a great door with which, masses of people can be introduced to what you do much easier.

Second, necessity based.

Our new product is a tool that anyone doing any kind of business online – must have if they want to learn to build relationships with and sell En masse.

It’s a funnel builder and so – when people see it – if they want to build online – they say “Yes, I already know I need that.”

Sort of like – if you want to live,  you know you need food or water… If you want to build a business online – you know you need a funnel builder.

It takes very little education and selling for people to understand that which makes sales easier.

This is another reason why, if you’re building a business from home – it’s SOOO smart to offer tools and training that can help other home business entrepreneurs along their way on top of whatever your primary company, products & business are.

For a GREAT example – take a peek at the process we have set up here in the Online Recruiting Secrets system.

This allows you to build a residual through a tool, everyone needs – an auto responder – before your prospects even see your company.

I just got an email from Aweber telling me they’re sending me a check – and I just started promoting them again here in the system a month or so ago..

how cool is that!?

Third, the strength of the offer.

Not only is our new product a tool that people intuitively know they need – but it’s also coupled with a FREE funnel builder training academy we created to help people learn to use the product AND the ability to earn $20 residual commissions for each referral.

That makes the offer almost irresistible.

Having an offer that people find so enticing – it’s hard to resist buying – makes sales and building a business so much more fun and easy.

Is what you’re selling irresistible?

If not, what can you do to make it more so?

Are their any bonuses or coaching you could add to your offer, to make it more enticing?

If so, do it.  The more attractive you can make your offer – the better it will sell.

Second, Promoting On Facebook Is GOOD Even Though  You Get Less Engagement

In this particular launch – I’m so grateful to say that I was able to refer 36 personal customers in 7 days – which created for my family a brand new $700 + monthly income stream.  (This is the equivalent of a new rental property – but only I only risked $25 bucks and a weeks worth of effort)… WAHOOOOOOO!  YES!  Hallelujah!  (i’m dancing!)

One HUGE lesson I learned in this process is the importance of doing whatever you can to get the word out – even if it means selling and promoting on your facebook wall.

I had some major hesitation to doing this because … (here let me share with you my negative self talk)

  • I don’t want my friends to think I’m selling to them.
  • I don’t want people to think I’m bragging
  • My engagement from promo posts will be WAY lower..
  • Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah…

But fortunately, I got over myself and I can track at least 4 of my new customers directly from my Facebook wall.

Of course you don’t want to be constantly pitching, pitching pitching with no value ever.

But every once in a while – it’s a good thing to tell people about what’s happening, especially if you’re excited about it.

And here’s what I’ve found helps when doing a successful promotion.

Deciding to go all in.

Meaning – make a decision that you’re going to do whatever it takes to get the word out.

Emails, phone calls, Facebook messages, Facebook posts, webinars – whatever it takes.

Third, I Learned The Importance Of Removing Objections In The Sales Process If Possible

So one of my friends David, was looking at our funnel builder and he said – “this looks great, but even after I build my funnel – I’ll still have to get traffic to it right?”

That’s when I realized this was something that could be stopping him from moving forward.

I remembered going through a training from Russel Brunson – where he was teaching how he sold 3 million dollars worth of his product (a funnel builder) from stage at a Grant Cardone event a while back.

One of the things he said was that you want to remove limiting beliefs that are preventing people from buying – and in the case of a funnel builder – a big one is “I don’t know how to get traffic.”

This is why he decided to include a traffic course, as a bonus in his offer.

I called my business partner Mike – we talked about it – and decided to include a free bonus training with one of the best traffic people we could find.

I reached out to this friend of ours, a traffic genius who’s been driving traffic to funnels since 1996 – and a home business millionaire several times over – and asked if he would let us interview him and pick his brain.

He said YES!

We started telling people that was coming during our promotion and the sales came POURING in.

I was talking to one of our new customers the other day, Kaity – a great network marketing mom in Utah and she specifically asked me about that part of our offer.

(Great news Kaity – we got it done and it’s in your membership back office)  🙂

So there’s one example of removing objections during the sales process.

Here’s another one.

I was talking to another friend of mine, another great network marketing leader who’s had a TON of success over the years, Kevin Knecht.

During the course of our conversation he said “You know Paul – I really don’t like building funnels.”

I knew exactly what he meant and said “Me TOO!  I much prefer connecting with people – serving them – inviting, closing – relationship building.. etc”

Getting bogged down in tech stuff is no fun at all.

So guess what came out in our new sales video?

I told that story of Kevin and I talking and then talked about how with our funnel builder training – I was able to get my new funnel up in record time with very little tech pain!

Then – as I was talking to the same gal I mentioned above, Kaity, after she’d seen the sales video – guess which part of the sales video she mentioned?

You got it- that exact part.

She too – much prefers building her business than getting bogged down in tech stuff.

So that part of the message spoke to her – removed that road block and paved the way for her to feel good about making a purchase decision and move forward.

So how does this relate to what YOU are selling?

See if you can discover the reasons people give themselves for NOT buying your products and joining your business and see if you can include the solutions to those in your sales presentation/ process.

Holy cow this post is getting long.

Ok – I better end it.

Hopefully you’ve found some value in some of these lessons my friend.

  • A low priced product/offer opens the door for the masses
  • A necessity based product/offer can be much easier to sell
  • The strength of your offer needs to be as irresistible as possible
  • During a promotion – go all in and do whatever it takes – INCLUDING making facebook posts (even though you might be hesitant)
  • Do your best to handle objections in  your sales presentation/process
