Limiters

A limiter is a sales strategy that limits the number of people who can take advantage of an offer with time or quantity.

I used to be in an MLM company that would only let you join if you had a green ticket, and there was only 1 green ticket available through the first 3 weeks of the month.

Everyone else had to go on a waiting list.

It worked like magic.

Everyone wanted to join and was chasing me down vs. the other way around.

Limiters can have this effect.

If you’re selling something that involves your personal time – limiters are easy because so is your personal time.

You can offer a bonus like, for the next x number of people who join I will (Offer some sort of valuable service or extra 1 on one time).

When they are authentic and have legitimate reasons why they exist, limiters can have an amazing effect on your business.

Another often overlooked form of limiter is an application process.

Here’s a great example.
