Stop Hoping Someone Else Will Make You Rich

I’m done hiding my true thoughts to avoid stepping on toes.

Someone recently asked me why we don’t use a “1-up” or “2-up” compensation plan. In fact, they said “how hard would it be to make your plan MUCH better by switching it.”

I said: “I don’t think that would be better, actually. If you go read my new e-book, you’ll see why.”

Their response surprised me. They said: “im not surprised, you believe working alone is better than team work…. ok”

I said: No. I don’t believe that.

Cooperation is a law of success and we have incredible harmony and team work in our organization.

Compensation structure and working relationship are not the same thing.

Look at churches who have amazing working relationships among the people. It’s because they’re working together for the right reasons.

How much one earns from another team member’s efforts has nothing to do with cooperation, service, love, leadership, teamwork.

In fact, I might venture to say that if the reason you’re trying to “lead” someone is because of how much money you can make off of them, your influence is going to be greatly limited.

Additionally… in home business… hoping someone else does a bunch of work so you make a lot of money, can be and often is (not always, but very often) a “lottery ticket” mentality.

It makes you look at people with dollar signs in your eyes and a metaphorical whip in your hand as you subconsciously dream about how much you can drive out of them.

It drives laziness, false hope, and keeps you from taking full responsibility for your future – because there’s always this little “fingers crossed” wishful thought in the back of your mind that someday, someone might build a huge business and “make me rich.”

Much better to go to work and make it happen than be stuck in this type of wishful thinking.

I wrote an entire e-book on this. Read it here or don’t – but don’t say nobody told you.
