The Challenge

I wrote a post a while back called ‘inspiration vs. Degradation’ and the point was – to strive to speak to the good, not the bad.

And then another on Einsteins communication strategy where I said,

‘The sun does not insult, make fun of, or otherwise trash talk the darkness, it just shines and the darkness disappears.’

And yet, it seems a successful formula for good businesses and good sales is…

Problem – > Solution

Negative – > positive

Yesterday as I was sharing some of the negatives (problems) I felt I’d experienced in my home business journey, in an effort to lead to a solution (positives) we’re endeavoring to create in our current business endeavor.

I received an email from a trusted friend who expressed some discouragement in reading my email.

He pointed out that I may have been casting a negative light – or criticizing groups of people and/or a business model altogether.

That made me sad and I immediately deleted the other places I had posted the content.

If I have discouraged or criticized you in any way, I’m truly sorry.

I try to teach my kid’s the essence from a favorite Napoleon Hill quote.

‘The man who builds a house is an artist; the man who tears it down is a junk-man.

To see what needs to change – and be the change – while choosing not criticize, condemn or complain.

That’s The challenge.
