If you like the idea of money coming in while you’re not working, this is a post you’ll wanna pay close attention to.
Back when I was living in a trailer house, I remember reading a book that flipped a light switch on in my brain.
The book was called “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki.
Have you read it?
I recommend it.
At the time, I was spending 40 hours a week in a call center cubicle, making $11.09 an hour.
I thought this was the way.
Go to school, get good grades, get a good job at a good company, and live happily ever after.
So you can imagine my surprise when I’m sitting in a recliner in my trailer house living room after a long day of work, and I learn that I’d been lied to all my life.
“The rich don’t work for money.”
That’s what the author said.
My brain fought back against that so hard.
“Work is good,” I said.
“All good things in life take work.”
What do you mean the rich don’t work for money?
Isn’t that lazy?
All these thoughts were bubbling around in my brain as I continued to read.
Here’s what I learned.
Wealthy people make money in business, and then they take that money and put it into something called income-producing assets.
Think of a goose that lays golden eggs.
Once you buy the goose with your Money, it continues to lay golden eggs over and over again.
More Money.
In essence, your money is now making you money instead of you having to make the money.
I almost couldn’t believe that this was possible, but I thought,
“Wow, if it is, surely this would be a better way to earn money than sitting in a cubicle taking phone calls all day long.”
Well, guess what?
Here I am writing this post 20 years later from the exact place that author was writing about in that book.
My time is disconnected from my money, and I no longer have to work to provide for my family if I don’t want to.
My mind is constantly on the lookout for places to put money that will enhance the situation.
And that leads me to
The awesome wealth-building resource that I wanted to share with you, plus a bonus one.
Real quick, though, I have to say that my favorite way to do this is rental properties.
I love the consistent income that comes from my rental properties.
Jim Rohn used to say,
“A kid should have two bikes, one to ride, and one to rent.”
I agree. 😉
Problem though is,
A) It takes a pretty good chunk of cash to be able to buy one usually, especially if you want to do it without going into debt.
Problem B) is that your money is parked until you sell the asset, which means it’s not super liquid.
Problem C) is that you now have something to manage, which is not a big deal if you have good systems in place, but, you’ll need to find renters, sign lease agreements, fill the rental when it goes vacant, and even sometimes have to get it cleaned up before the next tenant moves in.
I still recommend setting this as a goal, and it’s worked out really well for our family.
But what if you’re not yet in a spot where you have enough cash to buy one of these?
You’ve got to find places to put your money that will grow your wealth while it’s still young.
Most people park their money in the bank, which, according to Robert Kiyosaki, is a losing strategy.
“Savers are losers!” -Robert Kyosaki
He says this because the interest rate at most banks is less than the rate of inflation, which means you are literally losing money having your money parked in a bank. The vast majority of the time.
Real-life example: My local credit union pays 0.15% interest on savings accounts.
Even with huge amounts of money parked in a place like this, you’re not going to make much worth writing home (or your email list) about.
So, money concious people will then look to something called CDs or certificates of deposit.
This is where the bank says, “Hey, if you promise to keep your money parked here for six months, 12 months, or longer, we will pay you a few percentage points higher.”
Still, though, those percentage rates are not very high, and now your Money’s locked up, so you can’t use it.
No bueno, IMO.
What’s a freedom crusader to do? 🤷♂️
Well that leads me to the point of this email, the thing you’ve been patiently reading for….
The first one I’m going to tell you about, the one that I alluded to in my email from last week, is super cool.
Unfortunately, it’s not yet widely available.
So I’m going to tell you about it, but I’m also going to tell you about a couple alternatives, one that can put cash in your pocket today and another that can put some more cash in your pocket, over time.
Not too long ago, I logged into my X account on social media and discovered a new little item in my menu called “Money.”

I was like,
“Huh? What’s this?” 🤔
Come to find out,it’s a place you can put Money, just like a savings account, and earn 6% interest.
That’s the highest percentage interest rate I’ve ever seen on a savings account.
When my wife and I were first married and focused on saving Money, we learned about something called a high-yield savings account.
Those still exist, and typically, we would see rates somewhere around 3% or 4%.
In fact, on our private coaching webinar today, one of our members mentioned one that my business partner had told me about a while back.
It pays 3.1%, which is better than most savings accounts, but still,
6% knocks that out of the water.
It gets better, but first, let me share some numbers with you.
Ten thousand dollars saved at this rate will produce $50 per month residual income.
A $100,000 saved at this rate will produce $500 a month residual income.
$200,000 Saved at this rate will produce $1,000 a month residual income.
That’s somewhat close to the amount you’d earn on a rental property, but saving your money here makes it totally liquid.
You can take it out whenever you want.
There is no property to manage.
And it’s FDIC insured, meaning it’s safe as “Money in the bank.”
What makes it even better is they also pay you 3% cash back on all your purchases.
They send you a cool debit card in the mail for free, and if you use that to buy things, you’ll earn 3% cash back right to your account for every purchase you make.
That means you just continue to do your normal spending, and you will get free money deposited into your account that will also earn 6% interest with your other money.
Since I’m a premium subscriber on X, I’ve been using this now since the 1st of July and have been loving it so much. I’ve been dumping more and more money into it and have been really excited to see the interest and the cashback savings continue to pile up.

This will be rolled out to everyone over time, so definitely pay attention and keep an eye out.
My business partner, Mike, was also a premium subscriber to X, but didn’t have access yet.
I sent him a dollar, and somehow it appeared in his X account.
So if you’re a premium subscriber, that might be a workaround if you don’t yet see it.
Regardless, keep an eye out.
Okay, 2 things you can use right now if you don’t yet have access to X.
The high yield savings account I mentioned above has a promo going on right now where if you use this link to setup a free account, deposit $50 and get a Free $50 added to your account.
That’s $50 bucks for a few minutes and quick little money transfer.
If you refer a friend (Mike referred me) who sets up an account and puts $50 in, they get $50 and you get $75.

Not too shabby for helping someone see the value if earning more on their savings.
Sidenote: While getting one of my son’s set up for this, I realized the 3% is only available if you have direct deposit setup with them. Slighly annoying but it is what it is.
Snap! I just checked my accocunt and saw this…

$50 Free bucks + $75 for referrals is still pretty cool.
*They have a paid version but I did NOT do that. What you see there comess from me signing up for free, adding $50 bucks. They gave me $50 for adding my first $50 and then another $75 for referring one person who did the same.
Here’s the link again if you wanna check it out & grab $50 free bucks.
Ahhhh yeah! 🙂
Next one…
This one’s good, not just for the return on your money, but also because they have a great referral program and do these cool little promotions where you can refer others and earn big chunks of cash deposited into your account.
You can start with very small amounts, and you can even set up accounts for your kids, which is something I was attracted to.
While I was camping this last weekend, I pulled up my account and looked to see what had happened to two of my son’s accounts, since we haven’t paid much attention to it. I remember them putting a tiny little amount of money in it.

Yes, the dollars are small but they started small.
Cool thing is each of them have returned over 50% on their money!
You can set this up for $3 per month with as low as a $5 initial investment.
If you subscribe to their silver plan $6 a month, you can setup accounts for your kids like you see I did with a couple of my kids above.
Another thing I like about this is their roundup plan, which is GREAT for poeple to put their savings on auto-pilot.
How Round-Ups Work
Round-Ups are the heart of how this little program helps you invest without even thinking about it.
Here’s the idea: every time you buy something, the system rounds the price up to the next dollar and sets aside the difference. Buy a coffee for $3.75, and it tucks away $0.25. Grab lunch for $8.40, and it saves $0.60.
Once those bits of spare change add up to $5, the money is automatically invested for you in a diversified portfolio.
It works just like the old change jar on your dresser — the one where you’d toss in your leftover coins at the end of the day. Except instead of sitting there doing nothing, this “spare change” goes straight to work growing your money.
Uniquely Profitible Affiliate Program
I’m a big fan of saving money. I’m also a fan of investing. So for those two reasons, I’ve stuck with this program, but there is a third, and that is their uniquely profitable affiliate program.
They does these periodic promotions that I’ve seen them do consistently now for years, where they offer a big chunk of money just for referring a handful of people.
For example, they have one going on right now where, if you refer three people in the next two days, they will put $1,400 into your investment account.

This is money you can leave in the account or transfer out and use as.
It’s an easy ask, too, because you’re just inviting people to begin to invest money at higher rates of return, and they can start, as I mentioned, for as little as eight bucks.

I have no idea how they pay out this much money for these promotions, but I’ve seen them do it, I’ve gotten the deposits in my account, and somehow, they make it work.
Because they pay so much, for so little, I’ve noticed over the years that it has a very high conversion rate.
Anyway, if this sounds appealing, you can use my link right here, and get your account setup for higher returns than the bank.
And if you decide to share it with 5 people the deadline, you might be able to pocket an extra $1,400 bucks.
Even if you read this later and this particular promotion is over, they always have new ones going on.
Bottom line, any one of these three options will be growing your wealth way better than just leaving your extra cash parked in a bank account.
Thanks for reading and whatever you do, always go for your dreams!
Paul

PS: Know of any other programs that are great for getting a higher return? Let me know down below. And if you’ve already used any of these and have an experience you’d like to share, I would love to hear.
I have been using ACORNS for about 2-3 years..
It does seem like a good investment program!
Thanks for the share
