I recently learned in The Marketing Seminar, with Seth Godin, that marketing is change.
When I decided to buy my first online marketing training product back in 2009, I was sitting on the floor of a tiny bedroom with brown carpet and brown paneled walls, in a 1984 single wide trailer-house.
I remember the moment vividly.
…but they love to buy.
Guy walks into the electronics store looking for a new TV.
The sales person comes up and asks, “Can I help you?”
“Nope, just looking says the man.”
Wait, what?
That’s because, people love to buy, but hate to be sold.
If you can create an environment in your marketing where your prospect feels like they’re the one’s finding, choosing and deciding to buy, sales and retention can take on a whole new light.
