The Crucial Lists

Life can be hard, and confusing.

I don’t know that any of us are immune from this and I think at some point in time, we all struggle with some of the bigger questions in life.

I was listening to a clip from clinical Psychologist Jordan Peterson the other day where he was sharing his experience in working with many people who came to him with depression.

He said that some of the them had chemical imbalances but a great number of them were struggling with the question of…

Why Be...?

When life gets tough and things are confusing and we feel lost, alone and maybe even a little scared…

How do we reach down and find the strength and resolve to keep moving forward?

I don’t claim to have all the answers but I can tell you about something that’s helped me over the years.

– > The Crucial Lists < –

List #1 – – – >  Who do I want to become?

List #2 – – – >  What do I want to have?

List #3 – – – ->  Where do I want to go?

And then the last list, list #4 – – – > What are the things I must do on a daily basis to lead me into this beautiful future I’m envisioning for myself?

Looking at this list morning and night and working between the bookends of our day to make progress, can go a long way toward bringing us meaning and purpose – thus helping us to answer the why be question.
